Duties:Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters, handling all aspects of claims from initial consultation to resolution.Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information.Prepare and file legal documents, including claims and appeals.Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies.Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations. Requirements:Juris Doctorate or better from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in Virginia.2+ years of experience in workers' compensation law.Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and procedures.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Certifications:Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia. Skills:Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and procedures.Legal research and writing proficiency.Communication and negotiation abilities.Case management skills.Ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
