As a Resident Assistant at Evergreen Knoll, you will be a part of a team helping to enrich the lives of our seniors and put a smile on their faces. If you enjoy helping others, then this is the position for you. Job responsibilities include assisting residents with personal cares as scheduled; performing housekeeping duties; observing residents and reporting changes in physical and emotional condition; assisting with meals as directed; and passing medications and supervising resident self-administration. Shifts: 6a-2p, part-time, including every other weekend 2p-10p, full-time and part-time, including every other weekend 10p-6a, part-time, including every other weekend $19.00 - $21.00+ based on experience +$0.50 for CNA certification and +$1.00 for both CNA and TMA certifications! Shift differentials for overnights and weekends! - Benefits for eligible employees include a variety of health plans to choose from, many of which are free or very low cost, dental insurance, paid time off, and our 403b retirement plan which allows you to begin your contributions immediately upon hire. -Tuition reimbursement available for new CNA and TMA certification, and other post-secondary education degree programs including nursing. Experience not necessary, we will provide all the training and support you need to be a successful and valuable member of our team. Must perform all required job tasks as trained and directed and respect the confidentiality and personal privacy of residents. Because our care staff play an important role in providing day-to-day care and assistance to our residents, it is critical that our employees work as scheduled, and provide appropriate notice and shift replacement when they can't. In order to be able to clearly communicate with and provide appropriate care to our residents, as well as to complete all job tasks safely and as required, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Prior to starting work, all employees are required to pass a criminal investigation as solely determined by the State of Minnesota.
