We are actively seeking a Warehouse Technical Lead join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This position works out of our facility in Woodland, WA. Come and grow with us! How you will make a positive impact: Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 warehouse and logistics professionals Ensure safe, timely receipt, handling, and storage and accurate documentation of all inbound materials and inventory Responsible for the quality control of all inbound shipments, including the timely disposition of non-conforming parts Coordinate with manufacturing, sales, purchasing, project management, and other departments to arrange movement of materials and equipment to meet manufacturing and sales schedules Ensures security and accountability of inventory by properly addressing inventory location management and inventory control through cycle count program. Maintain team performance metrics and work with team and managers on areas for improvement Cross train with and back up other warehouse leads Help rotate warehouse specialists through different tasks so that they can learn all aspects of proper handling, receiving, storing, and shipping parts. Ensure team members are properly trained to safely use tools and material handling equipment in the warehouse Lead documentation and continuous improvement of standard processes in the work area The value you bring: Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent required Forklift experience and certification required Overhead crane experience certification required Previous experience as a warehouse lead/ supervisor or a similar management position highly preferred Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management Excellent leadership and organizational skills Time management skills and the ability to delegate Knowledge and experience working in ERP/WMS Systems and Microsoft Office applications Strong, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills Safety awareness and commitment to training team members on best practices for safe work in a production environment USNR is pleased to offer the following benefits to our full-time employees: Medical, dental, and vision insurance available to employees and their dependents on the 1st of the month following date of hire Optional flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) Company-paid basic life and short-term disability insurance with employee-paid options for additional life insurance and long-term disability Up to $300 per year in wellness activity reimbursement 401k with employer matching available Up to 96 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) accrued per year with no waiting period to use accrued time 8 paid scheduled holidays and 1 paid floating holiday per calendar year Up to $300 per year in Wellness Activity Reimbursement   Up to $5,250 per year tuition reimbursement for continuing education Annual reimbursement for safety boots and safety glasses based on the nature of the job This job posting is not meant to be an all-inclusive list of duties, responsibilities, and activities.
