Job Description: A Warehouse Lead is the final layer between all Warehouse Management and Warehouse Associate staff. They are the closest to the day to day work a warehouse associate goes through and they should be the main leaders along side the associates helping them drive to our daily goals. A lead typically will be assigned a specific department, but can be utilized in all departments. Examples of where a lead can be utilized are Small Parcel, Receiving, Returns, Inventory Control, and Wholesale. Typical responsibilities for a lead would be: Understanding the end to end process of their respective area and how to properly use the tools to execute this process such as Rugs USA's ERP, WMS, Reporting Tools, etc. in the event they need to fill in for their Supervisor- Communicate directly with their Supervisors on problems encountered through their shift with either people, process, or system Train fellow leads and associates on how to properly use Rugs USA's systems and the associated processes with those systems Immediately escalate any system and safety concerns to their respective Supervisor to ensure they are fully aware and establishing proper mitigation plans Provide feedback on associates that are not performing to expectation and potentially need to be reviewed Maintain the general "look" and "feel" of the building always striving to keep an organized, clean, and effective workspace for all team members Work as a cohesive unit with fellow Supervisors and Leads to achieve the expected goals of the business Desired Qualifications: Raymond and Crown forklift experience preferred Prior Warehouse Operations experience Overtime Availability Dependable Excellent Interpersonal skills Strong Multitasking Capabilities Analytical and problem solving abilities Quality of Workmanship Excellent communication skills Your Life and Career at Rugs USA: * A culture that promotes a healthy work/life balance* Benefits package offered to all eligible full-time employees (including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k)* Exposure to career advancement opportunities across all departments* Monthly wellness stipend and more! The US base hourly range for this full-time position is $19.00-$21.00 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the likely salary opportunity for a new hire in this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
