Educationo Graduate of State-approved school of nursing.o Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.? Experienceo One (1) year of experience in hospice preferred, but not required.? Other Qualificationso Current Illinois nursing license.o Certification in hospice and palliative care preferred, but not required.o CPR Certification preferred.o Excellent clinical assessment, organizational and interpersonal relationship skills.o A working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, hospice regulations, and third-party payor expectations is preferred.o We visit our patients wherever they may be located, whether it be in their homes, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. As a result, there is a fair amount of driving associated with the position. A valid driver?s license, current car insurance coverage, and reliable transportation are requirements of the position.Benefit and Insurance Information? Paid Time Off (PTO)?
