The candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of intellectual property and technology mattersfor clients. Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secretsDraft and review patent applications, trademark registrations, and licensing agreementsConduct intellectual property due diligence for corporate transactionsAssist with intellectual property litigation, including infringement disputes and enforcement actionsCounsel clients on technology-related legal issues, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and digital rights managementNegotiate technology agreements, including software licenses, SaaS agreements, and technology transfer agreementsStay updated on developments in intellectual property law and technology regulationsCollaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement intellectual property strategies Requirements:Bar admissionExperience in intellectual property law, preferably with a focus on patents, trademarks, or technology transactions Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Bar admission Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and accuracy in legal workAbility to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks effectivelyKnowledge of intellectual property laws and regulationsFamiliarity with technology-related legal issues, such as data privacy and cybersecurity Providing a full range of legal and advocacy services across a broad spectrum of industries, this law firm has offices throughout the U.S. and Shanghai.
