The ideal candidate should have law firm experience, strong writing and oral advocacy skills, and a demonstrated interest or experience in complex litigation, including soft IP, unfair competition, or consumer class actions. Duties:Manage cases and client relationships effectivelyDraft pleadings, motions, and legal memorandaConduct legal research and analysis on various litigation mattersTake depositions and prepare witnesses for depositionPropound written discovery requests and respond to discovery requestsArgue motions in court, including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, preliminary injunctions, or class certification briefingProvide strategic advice to clients on litigation mattersCollaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and development Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in California4+ years of experience in commercial and intellectual property litigationExperience managing cases and drafting various legal documentsStrong writing and oral advocacy skillsDemonstrated interest or experience in complex litigation, soft IP, unfair competition, or consumer class actionsClerkship and court experience is a plus Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Active license to practice law in California Skills:Strong litigation skills, including drafting pleadings and motionsExcellent research and analytical skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and ability to meet deadlines This Amlaw firm stands out among its peers as having a commitment to innovation, work-life balance, and friendly firm culture.
