You’ll run routine inspections and maintenance and create preventative measures to keep our equipment running smoothly as long as possible and minimize any risk. Responsibilities: • Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed• Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs• Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed • Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks Qualifications: • Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems• Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests• Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures • Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent• 2+ years of maintenance experience Compensation: $12 - $15 hourly About Company: Quality Inn New River Gorge and Elliott's Whitewater Bar and Grill are both locally owned and well-established businesses in Fayetteville WV. We are busy year-round and need a full-time staff. Positions include cooks' servers' bartenders and kitchen personnel as well as motel guest service agents housekeeping attendants and maintenance personnel.
