Salary Range:24.3200:37.4200/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Sr Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact, both in person and for incoming calls to the department. This person will provide administrative support, playing an important role in the overall success of the department. Responsibilities include answering telephone calls and assisting callers, coordinating appointments. Monitor and/or order office supplies as needed as well as keeping supplies organized. Scheduling equipment repair and service. May distribute mail and process incoming/outgoing mail. Schedules various room reservations for meetings and maintains room calendars as requested. Assists in the development of policies and procedures and departmental forms.Maintains up to date unit specific data, logs, and runs reports for management. May support ongoing Programs or special Projects.Acts as Hoag Ambassador to patients, visitors, staff, physicians, vendors and the community. Performs other duties as assigned. Pharmacy Dept: Maintenance of an active pharmacy technician license is preferred. Helps to ensure, verify, and maintain required licenses and certificates for all pharmacy staff positions. Provides feedback and develops solutions for complex processes, projects, and goals. Maintains operational knowledge of the department and organization, including current policies, procedures, Board of Pharmacy laws, and other regulatory bodies rules and regulations. Attends meetings to review Hoag's internal processes. Participates with scheduling of staff as needed. Is able to assist with periodic application processes and inspection requirements for regulatory and accrediting agencies. Coordinates and produces reports as needed. Serves as additional administrative support to alternative campuses. Other ad hoc projects or duties as assigned. For clinical positions, this includes clinical procedures required by department and unit, as demonstrated by unit :based competency testing. Ability to speak and write effectively, demonstrates fundamental command of language, communicates well using all mediums. Position may require local travel between various Organization locations.
