Duties:Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters with a focus on insurance coverage disputesConduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefsAnalyze insurance policies and coverage issuesProvide advice and counsel to clients on insurance coverage mattersPrepare for and attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediationsManage discovery, including document review and productionCommunicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriersDevelop case strategies and provide litigation support to senior attorneysParticipate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processesStay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in insurance coverage litigation Requirements:2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage litigationJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolBar admission in NJ (helpful) Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Bar admission in NJ (helpful) Skills:Strong research and writing skillsConfidence in appearing before courts and clientsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
