The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills and be confident in appearing before courts and clients. Bar admission in PA is helpful. Duties:Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters, including insurance coverage disputesConduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documentsRepresent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motions practice, and trialsCommunicate with clients to provide legal advice and updates on case developmentsCollaborate with other attorneys and staff on case strategy and preparationAttend depositions, mediations, and settlement conferencesManage discovery processes, including document review and productionReview insurance policies and provide coverage opinions to clientsNegotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processesStay current on developments in commercial litigation and insurance law Requirements:2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigationAdmission to the Bar in PA (multiple Bar admissions preferred)Strong research and writing skillsConfidence in appearing before courts and clients Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Bar admission in PA (or eligibility to waive in) Skills:Excellent research and writing abilitiesStrong oral advocacy skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and accuracyTime management and organizational skillsKnowledge of insurance coverage principles and commercial litigation procedures
