You'll be responsible for working with business and technology partners to identify and mitigate potential risks to Capital One. Risk Managers at Capital One are highly motivated professionals with excellent organizational and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company. In this role you will focus on supporting finance application project teams to ensure we have well-managed processes.Responsibilities:Risk and process consulting to one or more application team and provide advice and guidance as requiredEnsure adherence to internal policies and standards related to application projectsBuild a management control program around all controls and standardsMonitor process health and coach application teams accordinglyAssist teams with project planning activitiesDevelop and leverage key relationships with stakeholders that enable collaboration across the enterpriseLead change control efforts at the process level to ensure impacts are appropriately assessed, documented and implementedBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 5 years of experience in Project ManagementAt least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clientsPreferred Qualifications:At least 5 years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in RiskAt least 3 years of experience supporting financial, accounting, and reporting application teamsAt least 3 years of experience working in an Agile environmentAt least 3 years of experience using JiraAt least 5 years of experience in Financial ServicesAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
