STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING! Title: Business Analyst Duration: 12+ Months (On-Site) Location: Detroit, MI Job/Role Description: * Works with the company's ITS Performance Assurance & Sourcing Office (PASO) as a Business Analyst (BA)* Responsible for assisting the ITS PASO Manager with ITS Sourcing Excellence initiatives, vendor management, vendor and ITS relationship building* Responsible for ITS requirements gathering and problem solving* Creates process maps in Visio and documents processes, Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Job Aids Key Responsibilities: * Knowledge and understanding of IT Vendor Management, Procurement Concepts and Managed Services (e.g., Incidents, Requests and Minor Enhancements)* Knowledge and understanding of ITS concepts* Ability to understand ITS Managed Services Contracts* Ability to negotiate* Proven ability to work with business partners to identify, document and articulate business requirements* Ability to manage their own work and facilitate requirements gathering meetings* Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented* Ability to work on multiple initiatives under tight deadlines and changing priorities* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate positive working relationships among the team* Ability to work within a team and if needed independently at a very fast paced environment* Ability to effectively communicate with company's Leadership Preferred: * Undergraduate ITS degree* 10 Years of experience in an ITS Procurement capacity or ITS Business Analyst Role* Knowledge of ITS Managed Services contracts The S 3 Difference The global mission of S3 is to build trusting relationships and deliver solutions that positively impact our customers, our consultants, and our communities.
