JOB TITLE: Hybrid Expert Witness Dental Consultant JOB LOCATION: 3 days a week onsite in Roseville CA WAGE RANGE*: $125k to $165kJOB NUMBER: 19377REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: DentistExpert WitnessMedicaid JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is in need of an Expert Witness Dental Consultant is responsible for supporting activities to detect and report potential fraud, abuse, and quality of care issues, including litigation-related services, within the Medi-Cal Dental Program as a part of Compliance Management. This role serves to help maintain the integrity of the Program. You will play a vital role in identifying areas for improvement and assisting in implementing strategies to enhance Program performance. Your role in our mission Provide overall policy direction to the Performance Management Team Work directly with CA Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) counterparts to help define and interpret policy related to Program Integrity Provide data and analytical support services as well as expert witness services as necessary in fraud, abuse, civil and legal proceedings. Provide expert witness services including responses to subpoenas, written reports, certification of records, and oral testimony Assist in reviewing and analyzing the delivery, billing, and utilization of services on a case-by-case basis, to detect unusual practices, billing anomalies, and potential abuse by Medi-Cal providers and/or members. What we're looking for A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a dentist. Must hold an active CA dental license, in good standing and free of any suspensions or sanctions from Federal, State, or local jurisdictions. Demonstrated strong communication skills both in written reports and oral presentations/Testimony. Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of Medi-Cal Dental criteria and program requirements. Expert witness experience is preferred Position is hybrid or on-site (Roseville, CA), .
