Barista -- Purpose: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting impression Consistently produce high-quality beverages that reflect our standards Educate customers and team members on our coffee, tea, and light take-out fare offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines Manage product inventory and ensure smooth service by stocking stations appropriately Handle POS transactions accurately and follow operational procedures for opening and closing shifts Minimize waste and maintain a sense of urgency in assisting customers Attends all required team member meetings and in-service training sessions. Upholds Residents’ Rights as defined by state regulations and by Company policy, at all times. Supports and upholds all other Company policies, and the service philosophy. Reliable and Predictable Attendance. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Preferred 1 year of café experience High School diploma or equivalent Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building relationships Quick to learn and apply new skills, including proper bar cleaning techniques Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed Proficient in basic math calculations Capable of lifting and moving up to 50lbs Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Word and Excel. Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other team members. Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills. Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to State licensure. Must maintain current CPR/First Aid credentials. Must maintain current Food Handlers credentials. Must maintain annual Continuing Education Credits. Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
