This Senior Account Executive - Captive Management role will be an ideal opportunity to develop your experience and expertise in Captive Management. Get to know the business AIG Insurance Management Services is seeking to hire a captive insurance professional to represent our Vermont captive management operations. This position is expected to focus on customer service and continuing AIG's strong reputation in the captive management marketplace. The ability to report on results in a professional manner within a business setting is a must. How you will create an impact Manage a large, more complex portfolio of captive insurance companies. Coordinate all captive operations, including financial statement preparation, regulatory and corporate compliance on behalf of captive owners. Lead relationship and communication with senior captive owners, service providers and regulators. Provide account peer reviews and utilize and delegate to Account Admin and/or Coordinators. Performance Objectives include: Client Management : Responsibilities include being the clients' primary contact, preparation of financial statements; ensure captives are in compliance with all regulatory requirements which includes various filings for each client accurately and with specified deadlines. This position also provides peer review and guidance to other team members. Non-Routine Client Management : Independently perform special requests for clients, which may include tasks such as business plan changes, preparing financial proformas, or analyzing new agreements. Keep Manager and peer reviewer informed of non-routine changes. Communication/Relationships: Responsible for the day to day client and service providers' communications for matters relating to captive business operations and insurance programs. Leadership role in coordinating AIG's team (SAE, AC, Manager) relationship with complex clients and their service providers. What you'll need to succeed 5 + years of relatable experience required Bachelor of Accounting degree or captive experience required CPA or equivalent or CPA candidate a plus, but not required Experience in preparing financial statements with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or related experiences Proven ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently in order to meet deadlines and satisfy the needs of the client and service team managers Demonstrated analytical thought and the ability to think and complete tasks independently Excellent organizational skills a must Excellent Excel skills Veterans are encouraged to apply For positions based in Los Angeles, California, the base salary range is $73,000-$92,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus n accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. #LI-HB1 Enjoy benefits that take care of what matters At AIG, our people are our greatest asset.
