About the role:As a member of the Operations Technology team for the manufacturing plant in Spencer, Indiana, you will develop, implement, and support operations technology used to run the plant floor. This role will engage with both the Spencer digital factory team and the corporate OT team to develop best:in:class plant floor technology and align on best practice for implementation and support of that technology. Your responsibilities will include: :Plans, tests and partners in the roll:out of new applications, hardware, Operating Systems and infrastructure equipment.:Performs hardware and software compatibility tests for monthly/quarterly security patching, application and Operating System updates.:Maintains, develops and installs network infrastructure equipment and implements necessary changes.:Provides guidance and technical expertise for users related to system or software related purchases and provides ad:hoc user training and instruction on computer hardware and applications.:Manages break/fix and downtime issues related to operations technology.:Responsible for server administration, storage back:up and other data center activities for manufacturing OT tools.:Collaborates with the Digital Factory team and corporate OT team to define long:term plant:wide strategy for enabling best:in:class plant floor technology. Required qualifications: :3+ years experience with network administration (or equivalent):2+ years experience with server administration (or equivalent):2+ years' experience with remote access tools (e.g. Dameware):2+ years' experience with endpoint management tools (e.g. Acronis):1+ years experience with switching and routing (or equivalent):Experience with Windows and/or Linux scripting (PowerShell, command prompt, bash, etc):Experience with Microsoft LTSC:Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word:Understanding of IT service management processes and tools Preferred qualifications: :Associate degree in related field:Certifications relevant to networking, server administration, cybersecurity, IoT, or operations technology (e.g. Microsoft Certified Network Administrator and CompTIA A+):Experience with ITMS Endpoint Manager:Experience with Dameware:Experience with Acronis:Experience with process mapping and project management:Strong collaboration and communication skills Requisition ID:581304 As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most : united by a deep caring for human life.
