Our number one priority is the well-being and development of every child. This includes the whole child - the physical, social/emotional, and cognitive. Our SMS staff members work together as part of a collaborative, caring team and serve as positive role models. Be professional and mature in appearance and attitude Help children use resources and explore during learning and play activities using the Montessori method of learning Help with homework and after-school care Expectations: Monday-Friday 15-27.5 hrs/week Ability to be on your feet Ability to lift and move Ability to conduct chores apart from child care (cleaning, etc.) Willingness to engage with young children and other staff members Requirements: Ages 18 or older High School Diploma or GED CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to be certified Experience with children (preferred) We conduct random drug testing PLEASE NOTE: Employees who are made an offer of employment will be required to pass a post-offer pre-employment background process that includes passing a Basic TB and fingerprint test, and completing an online training program.
