About the Position: Electrical Installers work in teams of 2-3 to complete installation of electrical equipment,conduit and wiring, and generally contribute to the completion of installations. Responsibilities:● Maintain compliance with and enforce all OSHA safety rules and protocols for thecompany. Promote job site safety, ensure safe work practices, and rectify job site hazard.● Perform work to BSW standards.● Responsible for being familiar with electrical aspects of BSW systems● Communicate with the crew lead and rest of the team on the day's activities, progress andsuccess.● Report to crew leads, any issues that arise during installation.● Work variable hours.● Troubleshoot problems as they arise.● Drive to the associated job locations for each days appointment, as assigned by CrewLead / Manager.● Remain on site until the crew lead/ manager clears the team to leave.● Clean up job sites and pack out all unused materials after job completion.Ensure that the electrical system is properly grounded.Install electrical wiring, including conduits, wire, and other components.Carry out additional duties as required by Crew lead/ Manager. Required Skill Set:● High school diploma is required.● Valid CLEAN Drivers license is required.● OSHA 30 + 10 SST is required.● At least 2 years of construction experience.● Physically able to lift up to 40lbs or more.● Required to stand or walk for long periods at a time.● Conduit bending.● Familiarity with power tools● Attendance and Punctuality.● Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.● Comfortable working on ladders and on roofs.● Comfortable working in electrical panels.● Strong time management skills.● Good customer relation skills. Preferred Skill Set:● Knowledge of solar equipment is strongly preferred.● A passion for Brooklyn SolarWorks mission. Compensation & Mobility Potential: Entry level: $23-27/hr Lead level: 28-32/hr Assistant Manager Level: $33-37/hr Manager Level: 38-42/hr *We offer competitive compensation that is commensurate with years of relevant industry experience, skills and qualifications, certifications, and licenses.
