We're constantly discovering new ways to reach our goals, taking time to develop our skills, and investing in our career growth, so we can enjoy lucrative opportunities and grow our careers both within and beyond sales. - As Staples continues to evolve and adapt to the rapidly changing digital landscape, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to spearhead our Digital Sales & Strategy Division. -The Director will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing our go-to-market strategy, responsible for leading a team of sellers responsible for driving year over year sales growth via modern digital and data-led sales motions. - - As the Director of Digital Sales, you will be at the forefront of leading a dynamic team of digitally-savvy sellers leveraging cutting-edge digital tools and strategies. You will be responsible for spearheading innovative digital sales motions, overseeing an incubator team focused on discovering and implementing the most effective digital selling methods, and upskilling the salesforce on the latest digital innovations. Your role will play a critical part in shaping and executing the digital sales strategy to meet and exceed business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a sales team that utilizes data-driven and digital selling techniques and tools to drive sales. - Develop and implement innovative digital sales strategies and motions to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency. - Partner with dedicated L&D resource to build out a digital strategy & playbook for the broader SBA org to leverage. - Oversee an incubator team tasked with researching, testing, and implementing new digital selling methods. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital sales initiatives into broader business strategies. - Analyze sales data and metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. - Provide coaching, training, and support to the salesforce to enhance digital selling skills and capabilities. - Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital sales. - Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and adaptation within the digital sales team. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to sales team members. - Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and innovation. Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations. - Manage and lead cross-functional sales strategies, and future digital playbooks for Staples. - Promote professional development and growth opportunities for team members. What you Bring to the Table: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Innovation mindset with a passion for exploring new digital sales approaches. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Qualifications: 10+ years of prior related sales experience with at least 7 years in a managerial role. - Demonstrated experience leveraging digital sales tools and motions to drive sales. - Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital sales strategies and execution via a sales team Strong understanding of digital sales tools and technologies. - Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration or related field. - Experience in B2B sales within the technology or SaaS industry. - Certification in digital marketing or sales methodologies (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
