As we continue to grow, we are excited to add an Environment, Health, Safety, and Security Manager to our global team. Position Overview: As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in developing, implementing, and overseeing our company's Environmental, Health, Safety and Security program in a very fast-paced environment. You will ensure compliance with regulations, mitigate risks, and promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization. Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do: Responsibilities: Help develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Provide guidance and support to departmental managers and employees on EHS matters. Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance. Develop and deliver EHS training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and environmental conservation. Coordinate emergency response plans and drills to effectively respond to accidents, spills, or other emergencies. Maintain records and documentation related to EHS activities, including incident reports, training records, and regulatory permits. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in EHS management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business operations and decision-making processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the EHS program. Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in EHS management or a related role, preferably in manufacturing, R&D, laboratory safety. You should come with: Proven track record of developing and implementing EHS programs that comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Experience conducting risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits in a corporate environment. An ability to gamify safety training to make them fun, entertaining, and engaging! Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, including OSHA, EPA, IEC, NFPA, and other relevant regulatory agencies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to rapidly and effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. An ability to think differently to bend and flex to meet the needs of the organization. Unwavering integrity but you should also be fun and personable.
