Additional Information About the Role BJC Medical Group Is seeking a Hospitalist to join their Parkland Health Center team in Farmington, Missouri.Parkland Health Center offers a full continuum of inpatient and medical-surgical and intensive care, obstetrics, geriatric psychiatry and emergency services, along with a wide variety of outpatient services including oncology services, an infusion center, a cardiac catheterization lab, a wound care clinic, and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center. The Parkland Bonne Terre campus includes emergency services, inpatient services for patients meeting specific criteria, and a sleep study lab Position Highlights: $325,000 Base Salary 7 on/ 7 off - 182 Shifts per year $100,000 student loan repayment $30,000 Sign-on Bonus Up to $25,000 quality bonus per year $12,000 tenure bonus starting year three Relocation assistance Physician must be comfortable doing procedures Open ICU with 24/7 Complete EICU Tele-support 1 hour from St. Louis Visa Support offered About Farmington: Farmington, Missouri is one hour south of St. Louis at the edge of the beautiful Ozark Mountains. They are located on the campus located in Farmington, MO. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Ensures optimal care and promotes safety of patients admitted to assigned service in cooperation with the private attending staff and nursing staff. Communicates with staff, patients, and families. Responsibilities Manages the medical care of assigned patients. Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes. Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws. Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service. Assists in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.
