Description:
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, following company recipes and standards onboard the cruise ship - Take and process drink orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency- Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times, adhering to sanitation and safety standards- Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring that all supplies are well-stocked and accounted for- Provide recommendations and suggestions to guests, based on their preferences and the available menu options- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently- Work closely with the bar team to ensure smooth operation of the bar and timely service to guests- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security- Attend training sessions and meetings as required- Perform other duties as assigned by the Bar Manager or other members of the management teamRequirements:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bartender in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting- Strong knowledge of various types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as their proper preparation and presentation- Excellent customer service and communication skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task- Flexible schedule and willingness to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays- Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid bartending license or certification- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
