Senior Engineer, Machine Learning and Computer Vision Location: Salt Lake City or Bay area. Hybrid role. In:office 2 days per week with 3 remote workdays. Position Summary: We're looking for a highly technical Senior Engineer, Machine Learning and Computer Vision to help develop our pipeline and models that process hundreds of millions of georeferenced images from around the globe. We are a close:knit and ambitious team that specializes in rapid development, big:data geospatial systems. In this role, you will help drive the application of our existing tools and datasets and guide the development of new tools and products. This position reports to the Director of Engineering. Responsibilities: :Work with the engineering team to build tools needed for the rapid development and deployment of image detection and segmentation models.:Focused on automating internal processes to allow for rapid expansion and growth of the company's products.:Research the latest available tools and provide direction for the engineering team.:Augment or develop neural networks for specific image:based applications.:Work collaboratively and propose creative solutions. Desired skills: :Bachelors in computer science, engineering, or related field. Those without a degree, but with the experience, are still encouraged .:Hands:on experience building data and machine learning pipelines.:Experience with NVIDIA and at least one of the modern distributed Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, MxNet Caffe, and Keras:Programming experience in Python:Experience with image processing libraries such as OpenCV:Computer vision experience Other things we'd love to see: : Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or Math:Familiarity with technologies such as Google Cloud and Kubernetes:Experience building large:scale machine:learning infrastructure that have been successfully delivered to customers.:Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade:offs.:Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). :This role does not require travel.
