SummaryWe are recruiting for a Senior Cost Accountant who supports the Foods Product Costing Team through the maintenance and analysis of Standard Cost and Inventory Valuation Principal and Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provides necessary support for both SAP and Harvest Costing systems through data maintenance and analysis including monthly updates of SAP Inventory values as requested.:Monthly Closing responsibilities include Balance Sheet Reconciliations for Finished Goods and Semi:Finished Goods Inventory, in addition to the preparation of Inventory revaluations due to distressed / aged inventory.:Additional responsibilities include the execution the Weekly and Monthly Material Ledger processes in SAP.:Provides support to the Product Costing Manager.:Develops and provides ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested. Minimum Education and ExperienceREQUIRED: Bachelors in Finance or Accounting plus 5 : 6 years related work experience. Must have significant proficiency in Excel. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. PREFERRED: CPA or CMA or MBA, Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods or Foods Products Industry Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements :Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.:May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.:May need to access files, supplies and equipment.:Work activity is in an office, open:partitioned, cubicle environmentPerdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
