Bio-manufacturing Operator I Primary Job Responsibilities: Assist load and set up bioreactor tanks Assist harvest the bioreactor tanks Responsible to fill slurry product in trays and freezing (standard and/or cryo-freezing) Responsible to load frozen slurry product into the storage freezers Assist loading the freeze dryers Responsible for weighing out ingredients Responsible for cleaning product trays and racks Responsible for cleaning addition cans, refilling and set up Assist with receiving and loading of goods Prepare materials for shipping Gain proficiency in operating scales and tray washer General area cleaning Other duties as assigned General Responsibilities: Training new employees as needed on bioreactors and equipment. Follows SOPs (standard operating procedures) and work instructions for all tasks to ensure safe, quality products are manufactured. Operate process and utility equipment e.g. forklift, in a hygienic and safe manner in accordance with all processing procedures, cGMP, HAACP, FSMA and OSHA instructions and guidelines. Assist in maintaining all process areas within the manufacturing environment to comply with current regulatory guidelines and procedures. Maintain accurate written records or logs of all production processes, cleaning or maintenance completed. Soft skills: Collaboration, ability to multi-task, adaptable, listening Quality and Food Safety: Work closely with Quality Control department to assure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Responsible for compliance with maintaining facility cleanliness, post maintenance cleaning, and preventive maintenance. Responsible for accurate documentation on all records Typical Work Environment: Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, heat and odors Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 or more pounds periodically Ability to work around chemicals including enzymes Safety Requirements: • Follow all company safety procedures and safety regulations Location: • Milwaukee Powered by JazzHR
