Description:

This is a unique position in semiconductor inspection and metrology equipment sales to labs across the country. A successful candidate will be results-oriented with a strong aptitude for achieving forecasted goals, strategic negotiation and matching customer process challenges with complex measurement and analytical inspection methodologies used in the micro-electronics field. They will also have confidence in technical presentation to groups and the ability to communicate effectively at all professional and interpersonal levels. This position also offers potential growth opportunities and reports directly to the President of the company.Sales Activity1. Prospecting for new customers using a variety of approaches and diligently maintain Account records in the company CRM.2. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations and follow up with key decision makers.3. Conduct new customer meetings each quarter and submit standard meeting reports in territory assigned and strategic accounts.4. Manage entire sales process from initial inquiry to final acceptance and payment, including quote, samples, negotiations, order confirmations, coordinating delivery and payment terms.5. Meet regularly with direct supervisor to review sales activities, status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals, and deadline status.6. Plan quarterly sales activity with input from direct supervisor to achieve sales goals and travel expectations7. Support Tradeshow planning, execution and follow up with other members of the Account Management team.Requirements:Strongly desired skills:1. Sales planning, forecasting and strategic Account Management2. Product demonstration and group presentation3. Negotiation with customers and vendors to achieve maximum profit and manage risk4. Coordination of information, terms and conditions and communication between customers and partner companies5. Organized management of records in a current CRM platform6. Time management skills focused on meeting deadlines7. Ability to manage several Accounts and projects simultaneously8. Professional demeanor with customers, especially when answering questions via phone, email or in person9. Excellent interpersonal communication, both verbal and written10. Strong PC Skills with concentration on Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and QuickBooks11. Technical Sales experience12. Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business, Material Science, Physics or 3-5 years of experience in material science, technical sales and customer relationship management.13. 25% travel required.14. Japanese language comprehension a big plus, but multi-cultural understanding required. 15. Hybrid position after 90 days. Powered by JazzHR
