JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor , this role is responsible for managing the processing and payment of invoices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement of funds. The Accounts Payable Associate will collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and management to maintain organized financial records, reconcile accounts, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department. The Accounts Payable Associate will play a crucial part in supporting month-end closing activities, maintaining compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate and timely financial data for decision-making. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage invoice problems with receiving, pricing, and other issues. Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors Communicate with vendors daily on statements and past due invoices Consistently pay all assigned vendor invoices according to invoice terms Process cost invoices in LN according to delegation of authority approval Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and delegation of authority approvals Ability to scan and index files in DocuWare System as needed Work hold report daily and 120-day non-matched receipt report throughout the month. Performs other related duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including ability to utilize computer accounting and spreadsheet programs; strong data entry skills Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements Must be a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently without direct supervision Ability to ensure confidentiality, attention to detail, and high degree of work accuracy, required Previous experience with ERP systems N4/LN, preferred Experience handling a high volume of assigned vendors, preferred EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE : High School Diploma; associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, preferred 1 - 3 year's accounts payable experience WE VALUE Ability to anticipate and understand customer needs and provide guidance; Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills to handle difficult and sensitive matters; Effective communication and ability to communicate complex compensation details in a clear manner; Flexible workspaces and work hours that help you unleash the best you; Working in a collaborative team and balancing the needs of individual stakeholders while delivering corporate objectives. *The specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all-inclusive.
