Home Warranty Maintenance Technician Are you experienced in new home construction with a passion for customer service? If so, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for a reliable Warranty Technician to manage the completion of warranty work for our new homeowners. As a Warranty Technician, you will oversee the execution of approved warranty work, manage homeowner relationships, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors. Sound like you? Apply today! Responsibilities:• Project a caring attitude towards customers and colleagues through all communication channels.• Supervise subcontractors performing warranty work.• Efficiently coordinate the scheduling of all customer service work after diagnosing necessary actions.• Tactfully handle and negotiate challenging service requests.• Regularly assess and contribute to revisions of the current warranty program to enhance company image.• Assist in the coordination of warranty claims and repairs with suppliers and contractors. You will be measured on: • Timeliness of warranty reports required by management.• Average work orders per home under warranty.• Average length of time open work orders have been open.• Warranty budget adherence.• Timeliness of any assigned employee growth reviews. Qualifications:• Must have a valid Driver’s License.• Combination of at least 2 years of customer service experience and 1 year maintenance/construction experience.• Background in the construction industry.• Proficiency using technology in the field.• Ability to perform and train others on service issues, including common problem diagnosis and basic construction repair techniques.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.• Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, and email to ensure the customer’s needs are at the forefront of every interaction.• High School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred.
