Job Description Permian Technical Support Engineer (Upstream Chemicals), Midland, TX Are you a Technical Support Engineer looking for an interesting and inspiring opportunity? Our diverse and global team ensures that our customers have the products they need to perform effectively and safely. Our team ensures production enhancement and chemical services for our upstream customers so that they can function efficiently and perform at the highest level. We provide technical solutions to help with all their challenges. Partner with the best As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be providing a vital service by implementing, monitoring, and evaluating chemical treating systems. You will take ownership of sites and ensure they have the service needed to operate in a safe and compliant manner. You will be supporting our customers needs across the Permian BasinIn Upstream Chemicals Technical Support, you will be responsible for: Supporting customers with technical challenges and chemical applications including integrity management, flow assurance and production optimization. Managing field-oriented projects. Looking after occasional projects within a lab setting. Ensuring transactional discipline and following the job cycle process Participating in customer performance reviews and working together with senior leadership team from the business and Specifying needs. Communicating about project approach and presenting outcomes of projects. Handling standardized project processes, guidelines for choosing the right actions as well as handling diverse clients within the Permian region. Contributing to new business tenders Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Chemistry or a Technical discipline or have experience in Technical Support for upstream chemicals in Oil & Gas environment. Be a self-starter, good problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with a hands-on approach Have good presentation and writing skills Be able to build and maintain good relations with our customers, both external and internal Be willing to travel and work in the field Have the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
