Job Title: Assessment Test Developer Location: Regional Training Institute at 163 Scannell Boulevard, Bethany Beach, Delaware 19930 Travel: N/A Job Summary: Ladgov Corp is looking to hire a qualified Instructor to develop and execute a training courses that will include in-person classroom instruction, practical exercises, and quizzes. The classroom size will be up to 25 DEARNG service members. Duties: Arithmetic Reasoning. Measure’s ability to solve basic math and word problems. One-step and multi-step word problems require basic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Items include operations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages, ratio and proportion, and basic geometry. Word Knowledge. Measure’s ability to grasp the meaning of words presented through synonyms (vocabulary, definition of word in context, synonyms). Paragraph Comprehension. Measure’s ability to understand written material. Concepts include identifying stated and reworded facts, determining a sequence of events, drawing logical conclusions, identifying main ideas, determining the author’s purpose and tone, and identifying style and technique. General Science. Measures knowledge in biological, earth, space and physical sciences. Biological science covers botany, zoology, anatomy and physiology, and ecology. The earth and space science items are based on astronomy, geology, meteorology, and oceanography. The physical science items measure force and motion mechanics, energy, fluids, atomic structure, and chemistry. Mathematics Knowledge. Measures knowledge of high school mathematics concepts and applications. Problems concentrate on concepts and algorithms involving number theory, numeration, algebraic operations and equations, geometry and measurement, and probability. Electronics Information. Tests knowledge of electrical current, circuits, devices, and electronic systems. Auto and Shop. Measures knowledge of car maintenance and repair, and wood and metal shop practices. Topics include automatic components, automotive systems, automotive tools, troubleshooting and repair, shop tools, building materials, and building and construction procedures. Mechanical Comprehension. Measures knowledge of the principles of mechanical devices, structural support, and properties of materials. Topics include simple machines, compound machines, mechanical motion, fluid dynamics, properties of materials. Assembling Objects.
