Practice Area: Data Privacy - Transactional, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, Job Title: Cyber, Privacy, And Data Associate AttorneyJob Overview: A law firm seeks a dynamic and experienced Cyber, Privacy, And Data Associate Attorney to play a pivotal role in advising and representing clients on all cybersecurity and incident response matters. The ideal candidate will assist clients in navigating the complex and ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats and data protection regulations. This role requires 3-5 years of experience and membership in the TX State Bar.Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on cybersecurity and incident response matters.Assist clients in understanding and complying with data protection regulations.Conduct legal research and analysis on cybersecurity laws and regulations.Draft legal documents, including contracts, policies, and compliance documents.Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and litigation related to cybersecurity issues.Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.Requirements:Membership to the TX State Bar.3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response.Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.Excellent legal research skills.Superb writing and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Membership to the TX State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting legal documents.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Adaptability to navigate complex legal issues in cybersecurity and data protection.Job Location: Austin, TXBenefits Offered: The firm offers a full range of elective health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; robust mental well-being benefits; child, family, elder, and pet care benefits; short- and long-term disability benefits; a health savings account (w/applicable medical plan), flexible spending accounts, long-term care insurance, and a 401K program.
