Practice Area: Data Privacy - Transactional, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, Job Overview: A law firm based in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Cyber, Privacy, And Data Associate Attorney to play a pivotal role in advising and representing clients on all cybersecurity and incident response matters. The ideal candidate will help clients navigate the complex and ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats and data protection regulations.Duties:Advise clients on cybersecurity laws, regulations, and best practices.Assist in incident response investigations and mitigation efforts.Draft and review contracts, policies, and data privacy and security procedures.Conduct legal research on emerging issues in cyber law and privacy.Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and cyber and data privacy litigation.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response.Membership to the CA State Bar.Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Superb oral communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Membership to the CA State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in cybersecurity laws and regulations.Familiarity with incident response protocols.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively.Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Benefits Offered: The firm offers a full range of elective health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; robust mental well-being benefits; child, family, elder, and pet care benefits; short- and long-term disability benefits; a health savings account (w/applicable medical plan), flexible spending accounts, long-term care insurance, and a 401K program.
