Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services is currently looking for a Associate Electrical Support Equipment - Design and Analysis Engineer (Level 2) to join their team in Berkeley, MO. -This team is responsible for designing a wide-range of support devices that enable testing and fault isolation aircraft and aircraft subsystems. This position will support both electrical design of support equipment for many military aircraft platforms.Position Responsibilities: Create new 2-D and 3-D models for a wide variety of mechanical and electrical support equipment (SE) using modern computer aided design tools Make engineering design decisions on materials and components, processes, finishes, specifications, and assemblies Modify or develop and release detail designs, via model based definition or drawings and parts lists via Teamcenter Support internal, informal peer reviews and formal design reviews with USAF and USN customers, as needed Perform technical support of manufacturing and fabrication, typically at local suppliers, as needed Assist in informal and formal testing of support equipment, including aircraft and/or component physical and functional interface, as needed Work under general supervision and in collaboration with other engineers, designers and support staff Work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessaryThis position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. - This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. -Basic -Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 1+ years of experience using design CAD tools for developing electrical and/or mechanical drawings Experience with TeamCenter/Unigraphics Experience reviewing and releasing engineering drawingsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with Mentor Graphics Capital tool Experience with Support Equipment/Test Equipment DesignTypical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
