ATHERTON, CA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A vibrant and engaged family is seeking a FULL-TIME LONG-TERM AFTERNOON AND WEEKEND NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to join their care team. Their delightful daughters, aged 3.5 and almost 2.5, each bring their own unique personality traits - the eldest is sweet, empathetic, and imaginative, while the younger is fearless, talkative, and polite. With a current nanny who has been a part of their lives for 3.5 years, the family is now seeking additional support due to some changes.The girls attend both a co-op daycare and a nursery school. The eldest transitions from daycare to her nursery program daily, while the younger attends the co-op Monday through Thursday and joins her sister at the nursery on Fridays. The summer will bring changes to their schedule, likely aligning their nursery class schedules for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. Pickup times vary between 3:20-4:15, depending on the child. The current nanny handles morning care and daily needs.The schedule for the new role is flexible but guarantees 40 hours of pay. Flexibility and reliability are paramount, with hours spanning Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 6:30 pm, Saturday from 7:30 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 7:30 am to 12 pm. The family will offer two days off per week, but full commitment is required from Friday through Sunday. The ability to step in as a backup for the current nanny and a willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally, are valued.The family seeks a team player who can seamlessly integrate into their dynamic, assisting with various tasks such as running errands, preparing snacks and lunches, handling dishes and cleanup, managing family laundry, and occasional organizing. A family vehicle will be provided.Given the family's active involvement in their children's lives and the parents' flexible work-from-home arrangements, the ideal candidate should be comfortable working alongside the parents, essentially becoming a part of the family. They are seeking someone who can maintain boundaries while fostering a nurturing environment and supporting educational activities like phonics and early reading.The family values attention to detail, reliability, and an active lifestyle, including outdoor activities, hikes, and vacations. They prioritize healthy habits and seek a nanny who can reinforce these values.The start date is ASAP, with a pay range of $36/hr via payroll. Benefits include contributing to health insurance, 3 paid sick days, and 2 weeks of PTO.
