MILVETS is currently seeking to fill a full-time Test Engineer IV - (SECRET CLEARANCE) positionAbout the company : Since its founding in 1986, MILVETS Systems Technology, Inchas been a reliable provider of quality services in the information and technology fieldsAs a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, certified by the Small Business Administration as a Small Disadvantaged Business, the company was founded to offer efficient, cost-effective information technology services to commercial and government clientsPosition Title: Test Engineer IV - (SECRET CLEARANCE) Position Start: April 22, 2024 (Pending Contract Award) Position Summary: MILVETS is currently seeking to fill a full time Test Engineer IV - (SECRET CLEARANCE) positionThe Test Engineer IV, will be supporting the government at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MDResponsibilities:--- Prepares and reviews test plans containing such information as type of test to be conducted, facilities required, proposed schedule, and estimated cost of project.--- Conducts performance tests and evaluation of items/systems.--- Ensures sufficient equipment and resources (e.gpersonnel) are available to perform tasks.--- Coordinates testing requirements with other engineers or subject matter specialists, other PdMs or organizations for tests or facilities that are required for the test.--- Analyzes and evaluates technical data including instrumentation readings, calculations, deficiency reports, etcto ensure valid results or obtain weaknesses or failures encountered and probable causes, suggested modification and design changes.--- Analyzes design and specification proposals of manufacturers to ascertain that they meet specified general requirements; makes recommendations as to feasibility of designs, time and cost estimates, and other technical phases proposed.--- Knowledge of DoD, DA, acquisition, and ATEC T&E policies and regulations.--- Knowledge of instrumentation systems, data collection and reduction techniques, commercial and military standards, and use of management information systems necessary to facilitate testing and evaluation.--- Proven ability in applying data analysis techniques.--- Ability to develop evaluation strategies to include application of design of experiments and modeling and simulation techniques.--- Knowledge of the architecture, protocols, security, network management and physics underlying these systemsQualifications: BS in engineering, testing or related field, Engineering Experience: A minimum of eight (8) year of related tactical network test engineering experience Substitutions: BS can be substituted with an additional 7 years of related experience performing tactical network test engineering functions Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required_______________________________________________________ MILVETS offers an excellent benefits package including Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time OffApplicants for U.Sbased positions with MILVETS Systems Technology, Incmust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesVerification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hireVisa sponsorship is not available for this positionwww.dhs.gov/E-Verify E-Verify is a registered trademark of the U.SDepartment of Homeland SecurityThis business uses E-Verify in its hiring practices to achieve a lawful workforceEqual Employment Opportunity All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, or disability statusMILVETS Systems Technology, Incis an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and maintains a Drug-Free Workplace.
