You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented assembly mechanics. You will be provided with on-the-job training and learning experiences. You will facilitate preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. You will mentor and teach less experienced assembly mechanics. This position will be working directly in the Repair and Overhaul Propulsion engine assembly line. As an engine assembly mechanic, you will perform the following duties to include responsibility for ensuring engines are complete and ready to build, disposition of maintenance activities matches required work scope, compliance with Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and Part 121 CAMP programs. Will also ensure compliance with internal procedures and will resolve technical issues by working directly with quality and engineering. Key Responsibilities - Ensure compliance with internal procedures - Participate in project teams - Perform administrative duties - Resolve technical issues - Equipment troubleshooting - Equipment Repair - Test equipment and components - Identify parts for replacement - Participate in formal training - Preventative maintenance U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. YOU MUST HAVE - High School Diploma or GED - Previous or current experience with turbine engine repair All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.
