Occupational Therapist PediatricWe are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Pediatric specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and adolescents with various physical, developmental, and cognitive disabilities.Responsibilities:- Evaluate and assess the individual needs of pediatric patients to determine appropriate treatment plans- Develop and implement therapy interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and overall functional abilities- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive and holistic approach to therapy- Monitor and track progress of patients, adjusting treatment plans as needed- Provide education and support to families on home exercise programs and strategies for promoting independence and participation in daily activities- Stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions in pediatric occupational therapyQualifications:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy- Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist- Experience working with pediatric population, preferably in a clinical or school setting- Strong understanding of developmental milestones and pediatric conditions- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Preference given to those with valid Medicaid numberIf you are a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a passion for helping children reach their full potential, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
