SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: This position provides engineering support and project management for plant operations.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plant engineering/capital projects. (Scope, cost, justification, timing and execution) * Cost reduction and work flow optimizations to improve plant efficiencies. * Identify and implement productivity improvements. * Oversee plant infrastructure to maintain and enhance reliability, i.e. compressed air, chilled water and tower water and electrical distribution. * Provide general plant engineering support as required. * Provide engineering, PPE, or training solutions to high exposure areas based on near miss or incident reports. * Development of training documentation for equipment and best demonstrated manufacturing methodology. Improve preventive Maintenance program through growth of E-Maintenance.AUTHORITY LEVEL (if applicable):EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma + 5 years in manufacturing and maintenance experiencePreferred: Engineering Degree (i.e. Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical)EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:Required: 3 - 5 years manufacturing maintenance experience with emphasis on utilities, infrastructure, and manufacturing equipment as well as project executionPreferred: Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel and Project). Experience in plastics manufacturing equipment.
