This role will be the technical expert in various operating systems,virtualization technologies, and cloud solutions along with ensuring stability,performance, and security of the company's IT infrastructure. As with all positionsat KeHE Distributors, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE'sMission, Vision, and Values.Essential FunctionsDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Leads design, acquisition, implementation and support of cloud and on-premises compute and storage infrastructure.Analyzes infrastructure to determine and resolve inefficiencies.Manages infrastructure projects and makes recommendations on solutions.Stays up to date with the latest advancements in infrastructure technology and best practices.Collaborates with network engineers, security engineers, and other IT professionals.Provides technical leadership and project management of various essential and high visibility projects.Technical lead for design and administration decisions related to infrastructure.Provides training and mentoring to team members to promote professional development.Monitors, reconfigures, and tunes hardware and software for performance improvements and future scalability.Provides Tier III support for essential infrastructure as needed.Investigates and troubleshoots system issues.Ensures that systems are running at optimal performance and best practice.Other duties and projects as assigned.Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, AptitudeSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and written.Ability to lead projects and team members in a professional manner.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work individually and in a team environment.Advanced knowledge of Disaster Recover solutions and SAN technology.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong critical thinking and decision making skills.Strong attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft OfficePluses: SCCM/MECM, SCOM, Dell SAN, Entra/Azure, O365 Power Platform, Exchange, Container Technology (Tanzu, Kubernetes, etc..), Automation Technology, Scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.)Knowledge of budgetary principles.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience with infrastructure required.Senior level experience of VMWare Cloud Foundation and Aria solutions.Experience with design and configuration of various Amazon Web Services (AWS).Experience with use of group policy in the enterprise, including multi-forest implementations.Certifications such as PMP, MCSE, VCP, VCAP, VCDX, AWS Solutions Architect required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Requisition ID2024-22573Equal Employer Opportunity StatementKeHE Distributors provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits all forms of discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, religion or faith, sex, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.
