Job Overview:Draft and negotiate venture capital investment agreements, including NVCA forms.Lead negotiations of key terms in venture capital investment agreements.Supervise, train, and mentor associates in venture capital financing.Advise emerging companies on day-to-day operations and equity awards. Duties:Draft and negotiate venture capital investment agreements.Lead negotiations on key terms of investment agreements.Supervise and mentor associates in venture capital financing.Advise emerging companies on operational matters, including board communications and equity awards.Collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide exceptional legal services. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or eligibility for admission.Knowledge of Excel and capitalization tables.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and balance competing responsibilities.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Professionalism in client and colleague interactions. Certifications:Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or eligibility for admission. Skills:Proficiency in drafting legal documents and negotiating agreements.Leadership skills to supervise and mentor junior associates.Collaboration and teamwork abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
