Your Opportunity + Impact LDG is currently seeking qualified construction inspectors for heavy civil and Water Wastewater type projects in Central & North Central PA and the Southern Tier of NYS. Candidates with experience in trench work, construction roadways and water/ wastewater treatment plants will be considered. Project documentation requires detailed daily reports with basic computer skills. These positions are for hire in early 2023. Key Responsibilities Inspects, observes, and documents construction activities for Transportation and /or Civil projects. Uses various computer software programs to document observations and creates inspection reports. Continuously monitors work of team to ensure timely completion of project. Interacts with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, government agency representatives, and other parties on a regular basis. Communicates information, responds to inquiries, and helps resolve field issues to ensure successful completion of projects. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining required certifications. Utilizes technical references appropriately for the inspection of structural, concrete, earthwork, building, and mechanical components. Education and Experience GED or high school diploma required. Degree in Civil Engineering preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous Construction Inspection experience preferred. Experience working with CDS NeXtGen preferred. Must possess valid driver’s license.
