Responsibilities:• Maintain and upgrade system software and hardware to ensure optimal performance and security.• Conduct regular system backups and recovery procedures to prevent data loss.• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.• Implement and enforce security protocols and procedures to protect company data and systems.• Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to identify and address system-related needs and improvements.• Writing, reviewing, and updating knowledge base articles.• Enforce Team Members to follow knowledge base articles in troubleshooting processes. Qualifications: Educational Background :• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not always required.• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals can be beneficial. Technical Skills :• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for hardware, software, and network issues.• Proficiency in using common productivity software such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.• Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.• Knowledge of operating systems like Windows, macOS, and Linux.• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox). Customer Service Skills :• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.• Ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner to users.• Patience and empathy when dealing with end-users experiencing technical issues.• Active listening skills to understand user problems and provide effective solutions. Problem-Solving Skills :• Ability to analyze and diagnose technical problems efficiently.• Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and find solutions independently.• Strong attention to detail to identify and address root causes of problems.
