In the Northern Idaho market, we are experiencing huge growth. This will allow a new agent to build his/her book of business quickly. Responsibilities:• Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances• Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs• Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals• Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking• Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients Qualifications:• College or equivalent work experience.• Prior sales experience strongly preferred.• Organizational and time management skills.• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication ability.• Success-driven, with a passion for sales and providing solutions.• Looking for outgoing business drivers who can effectively tell our unique story.• The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and a desire to put the needs of clients first.• Licenses: You will be required to be licensed in property, casualty, life and health insurance before attending our paid training program.
