The ideal candidate will be a Junior in studying Construction Management with a passion for real estate and homebuilding. This internship will be onsite in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. What You Will Do Assist in project planning, execution, and completion under the guidance of experienced professionals. Collaborate with on-site teams to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project specifications. Gain exposure to field operations, including site surveys, measurements, and quality control. Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and progress reports. Assist in the preparation of comprehensive project status reports. Learn and apply industry-standard software and tools for project management, design, and documentation. Utilize digital platforms for data collection and analysis. Participate in safety meetings and site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Contribute to the implementation of safety measures on construction sites. Engage with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and subcontractors, fostering effective communication. Attend team meetings and actively contribute to discussions. Work on real-time problem-solving scenarios to develop practical solutions. Collaborate with the team to address challenges and make informed decisions. Engage in continuous learning opportunities, workshops, and training sessions provided by experienced professionals. Seek guidance and mentorship to enhance your skills in horizontal construction. Build professional relationships within the construction industry through networking events and interactions with industry experts. Attend relevant seminars and conferences to broaden your understanding of horizontal construction practices.
