We are seeking an organized,detail-oriented, financial-minded individual to join our team through the Accounting Assistant role! This individual will be responsible for managing all forms of financial accounts, including keeping accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records. What Wonderfold has to offer you: Medical insurance with 50% company-paid premiums Dental and vision insurance options Company-sponsored life insurance policy Generous paid time off 401K with 100% match up to 3% (after a year of employment) Frequent company-wide lunches and snacks Supportive company culture with opportunity for growth Competitive compensation between $20-$24 an hour On a typical day, you will: Assist in handling, managing, and tracking accounting inquiries Support the management of accounting systems Make and record purchases for the company Process and verify invoices for general and administrative expenses Collect and track receipts for invoices and expense reports Monitor customer balances and track payments against customers' terms Review time entries and time off requests Performs other related duties as assigned To qualify for this job, you must have: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field At least 1 year of Accounting experience Prior experience working with payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times without assistance Must be able to stand for extended periods of time EEO Statement: Wonderfold is an equal-opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity.
