The company is headquartered in Columbus, IN with approximately 50 employees in the fields of Information Technology, Accounting/Finance, Tax, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Human Resources. JOB SUMMARY : Pay range for this position is expected to be $120,000 - $135,000/annually. This position manages the development, implementation, testing and modification of HRIS systems. Works closely with HR Director to develop and manage the strategic direction for the HRIS function. The incumbent is responsible for management of ADP Vantage, all functionality added to the system and any other ancillary HR related systems that may be implemented. This position is the primary point of contact for HRIS vendor/partners and owns the overall HRIS relationship with group companies. This role ensures data integrity, confidentiality and process flow to ensure efficient and effective system operations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides coaching, mentoring, performance management and development for the HRIS staff Develops HRIS HOSHIN and participates in Midterm Planning Ensures HRIS system security and access permissions are in order and in compliance with internal policies and externally driven regulations Ensures confidentiality of employee and other data Develops and manages internal audits to support full system compliance Establishes procedures for managing all aspects of employee records/other related HR data (updating, validating, correcting, etc.) Assesses organizational needs and current HRIS systems and makes recommendations for improvements Provides oversight and management support for merger and acquisition projects and participates in project management as needed Manages the relationship with HR leadership at group companies (TINA being included as a group company) and ensures customer satisfaction; collaborates with leaders to assess needs and design system solutions Serves as HRIS escalation point Provides support to HRIS Analysts with research and supports problem resolution Manages the research, testing and implementation of newly rolled out features and enhancements Identifies system training needs, and designs training and development programs as appropriate Has a comprehensive knowledgeable of HRIS concepts and principles and is proficient in all aspects of the systems Manages report creation for group companies to ensure requirements are met, particularly with regard to compliance or other business operational requirements May be required to perform configuration and other technical support for the system Collaborates with other members of HR management to ensure the system is meeting the requirements of each function Performs other job-related duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; Master's degree preferred. HR Certification such as PHR or SPHR preferred. 8 plus years of Human Resources experience with emphasis on management of staff and systems Ability to handle emotionally charged and confrontational situations Flexibility to adapt to different schedule demands and deadlines and meet the needs of customers in different time zones Excellent written and verbal communication skills to compose and deliver communication materials to all levels of the organization Ability to multi-task and manage day to day job duties while also completing special projects on time and accurately Lead by example using the Toyota Precepts as a guide Demonstrated initiative to learn new systems, programs and stay current on best practices Strong skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (emphasis on Excel - formulas, charting, pivot tables). Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and practices Must have the ability to exercise judgment and make sound decisions quickly while interpreting the company policies Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with external vendors as well as internal customers TRAVEL: Travel may be required up to 10% of the time on an as needed basis. Typical travel includes visiting subsidiaries or traveling domestically for training. International travel may be required on occasion. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and communicate verbally and in writing. Manual dexterity and coordination are required to operate standard office equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and printer.
