Become a maker of possible with us.Territory Manager - Interventional Specialties DivisionTerritory Manager is responsible for increasing penetration and profitability in existing accounts as well as increasing market share through cold calling, prospecting, building relationships, post sales implementation and account maintenance.Focused on account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a territory. Involved in the sale of clinically differentiated solutions to include surgical instruments, equipment, products and/or disposables, and/or standalone software. Buying process involves physician preference and one or two decision makers. What is expected of you for success in your role Demonstrates advanced knowledge of CareFusion and customer industry, including: key competitors, terminology, technology, trends, challenges, reimbursement and government regulation; demonstrates working knowledge of how CareFusion offerings match with a customers' unique business needs.Initiates and takes ownership of principles of territory management, including: account planning, selling processes, post-sales implementation processes, deal economics Accountabilities Directs field sales and service strategy for Chronic and Acute draining products (including Pleurx Catheter), Soft Tissue Biopsy, Bone Marrow Biopsy, and Diagnostic Trays within a specific geographical territoryIncreases sales and customer satisfaction through a varied sales approach which includes cold-calling, relationship building, and account management Develops and implements short and long term plans to achieve annual sales and gross profit dollar goals by building on existing accounts and identifying and cultivating new opportunities for growthDevelops and implements short and long term plans to achieve annual sales and gross profit dollar goals by building on existing accounts and identifying and cultivating new opportunities for growthCalls on Oncology, Pulmonology, Cardiothoracic, OR and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) while building relationships and selling to physicians and hospitalsDesign and deliver sales presentationsIntroduces and sells new products, enhancements and multiple product lines Qualifications Bachelor's degree PreferredMinimum 4 years related sales experienceAbility to travel 25% of timeProven product knowledge in business areaValid driver's license and clean driving recordMust live in/around the territoryFor certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company's receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
