What You’ll Do As the Warehouse Lead for our Atlanta facility , The Night Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing all operations within the warehouse during the night shift, ensuring efficient workflow, high productivity, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining smooth delivery timelines and customer satisfaction. Keeping warehouse and equipment secure, compliant in safety and people policies, striving to make warehouse operate in a profitable and safe manner and driving continues improvement through “hands on” approach. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse personnel, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring performance meets expectations. Conduct performance reviews and implement training programs to develop team skills and knowledge. Address staff concerns and maintain a positive and productive work environment. Inventory Management: Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records and controlling discrepancies. Implement and optimize inventory control systems and procedures for accuracy and efficiency. Manage returns and damaged goods according to company policies. Logistics and Operations: Plan and coordinate warehouse activities, including loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other equipment safely. Monitor shipment timelines and ensure timely delivery according to customer orders. Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions to maintain smooth workflow. Safety and Quality: Enforce all safety regulations and protocols within the warehouse, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective measures to eliminate potential hazards. Monitor quality control measures for received and dispatched goods, ensuring adherence to company standards. Reporting and Communication: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, inventory levels, and order fulfillment. Maintain clear communication with day shift management, sales team, and external suppliers. Report any deviations from standard procedures or unexpected issues promptly. Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse or similar environment. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management principles. Experience with Microsoft office Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in warehouse management software and data analysis tools. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Commitment to safety and quality adherence Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (Chinese & English) Forklift operation certification a plus. Powered by JazzHR
