Tucson Unified School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Middle School ELD Teacher School Year: 2024-2025 Location: Dodge Traditional Magnet Middle School Summary: Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor studentsÂ’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning. Minimum Requirements: Arizona Elementary Certificate with Middle Grades Language Arts OR English Approved Area OR Arizona Middle Grades Certificate with Middle Grades Language Arts OR English Approved Area OR Arizona Secondary Certificate with Middle Grades Language Arts OR English Approved Area OR Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with English-Approved Area Arizona SEI (Structured English Immersion) Endorsement OR Spanish-Bilingual Endorsement OR ESL Endorsement Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Preferred Requirements: Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
